C’est l’été!
Festival Art in the Park 2026.
Quoi? On est déjà à la fin juin? Ok, le temps passe beaucoup trop rapidement en ce moment.
Juin a commencé sur les chapeaux de roues, avec ma participation (la toute première!) au festival Art in the Park, les 13-14 juin dernier. C’était absolument fou! Il y a eu tellement de visiteurs! J’ai vendu plusieurs œuvres et accroché encore plus de sourires aux lèvres des gens - ça, ça m’a fait BEAUCOUP plaisir.
Puis, j’ai eu le grand plaisir d’animer mon tout premier (coudonc, c’était le mois des premières) atelier d’art funky pour la municipalité de Val-des-Monts, en Outaouais. Classe pleine. Énormément de plaisir! J’espère que ça a donné la piqûre à certains des participants. Prochain rendez-vous : le 22 août à 10h, à la Bibliothèque du secteur Perkins. Et c’est gratuit! Oui oui, graaaatis.
Qu’est-ce qui m’attend cet été? Je vais essayé de prendre un peu de repos, mais aussi, de commencer à peindre pour le temps des fêtes (ça y est, je l’ai dit, ahah!). C’est que j’aimerais participer à au moins un marché de Noël et y vendre des cartes de souhaits.
Ah, et j’ai probablement une grande nouvelle qui s’en vient aussi - mais ça, ça serait pour un prochain post.

What? We're already at the end of June? Okay, time is moving way too fast right now.
June kicked off with a bang thanks to my very first participation in Art in the Park on June 13–14. It was absolutely crazy! There were so many visitors! I sold several artworks and, even better, put even more smiles on people’s faces—and that made me very happy.
Then I had the pleasure of leading my very first (apparently June was the month of firsts!) funky art workshop for the Municipality of Val-des-Monts in the Outaouais region. Full house. Tons of fun! I hope it sparked a creative itch in some of the participants. The next workshop will be on August 22 at 10 a.m. at the Perkins Sector Library. And it’s free! Yes, totally free.
What’s ahead for me this summer? I’m going to try to get a little rest, but I’ll also be starting work on my holiday collection (there, I said it, haha!). I’d love to participate in at least one Christmas market and offer greeting cards featuring my artwork.
Oh, and I probably have some big news coming up too—but that will have to wait for another post.
