Ce soir, il avait un rendez-vous.
Un vrai. Avec chandelle, repas chaud… et probablement quelqu’un qui l’attend encore.
Mais visiblement, le whisky était plus ponctuel.
La main verse, tranquille, comme si elle savait déjà que la soirée allait se terminer ici — entre deux gorgées et une promesse remise à demain.
Parce qu’à Dinner at Eight, il y a ceux qui arrivent à l’heure… et ceux qui préfèrent se perdre dans l’ambre.
Tonight, he had a date.
A real one — candlelight, warm dinner… and someone probably still waiting.
But apparently, the whisky showed up first.
The hand pours slowly, knowingly, as if it already understands the evening won’t make it past this glass.
Because at Dinner at Eight, some make it on time… and others get lost somewhere between the ice and the amber.
